Terms of service

The rules for using Flowzio, in the plainest language we can manage. Where a limit is a number, the number is stated - a threshold you can check beats a judgement call you cannot.

This agreement

Using Flowzio means agreeing to this page. If you are using it for a company, you are confirming you may agree on that company's behalf.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use Flowzio if we have previously closed your account for breaking these rules.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team members do.
  • Keep your password and API keys to yourself. An API key can send email - treat it like a password, and rotate it if it leaks.
  • Give us a working email address. It is how we reach you about deliverability problems and billing, and both are time-sensitive.
  • One person or company per account. Reselling access, or running unrelated businesses through one account to avoid per-brand pricing, is not allowed.

What you may not send

Regardless of consent, do not use Flowzio for:

  • Anything illegal where you or your recipients are.
  • Deception - fake senders, misleading subject lines, phishing, or impersonating anyone.
  • Malware, or links to it.
  • Harassment, threats, or content that incites violence against people or groups.
  • Sexually explicit material, or anything involving minors inappropriately.
  • Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid schemes, and the surrounding genre.
  • Circumventing the limits on your plan through multiple accounts.

Some legal-but-high-risk categories - regulated substances, gambling, adult content, cryptocurrency offerings - may need a conversation before you send at volume. Ask first rather than after; sending reputations are shared, and a suspension helps nobody.

Deliverability limits

Email deliverability is a shared resource. One sender mailing a bad list damages delivery for everyone on the same infrastructure, so there are thresholds - and they are stated as numbers rather than left to our discretion:

  • Bounce rate above 2% - the usual cause is an old or purchased list.
  • Complaint rate above 0.1% - people marking your mail as spam.

Both are measured over a rolling window and only once you have sent at least 500 emails - a handful of bounces from a small send is noise, not a pattern.

Crossing a threshold does not close your account. We will contact you first, and the usual fix is cleaning the list. We reserve the right to pause sending if the problem continues, because the alternative is every other customer's mail going to spam.

Your content

Your contacts, campaigns, flows, images and copy remain yours. We claim no ownership over any of it.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it, and send it to the addresses you specify. Nothing more - we do not use your content to market Flowzio, and we do not use your contacts for anything.

You are responsible for having the right to send what you send. If you upload an image you do not have a licence for, that is on you.

AI-generated content

Flowzio's AI writes drafts. Nothing it produces is sent automatically - every campaign and flow lands as a draft, and a person has to press send. That is deliberate, and it is also where responsibility sits.

AI output can be wrong, generic, or accidentally similar to something else. Read it before you send it. Claims about your product, prices, and legal disclaimers are yours to check - we cannot verify them and do not.

Billing

  • Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance. Yearly is billed once and works out cheaper.
  • Sends beyond your plan's allowance are billed as overage at the rate shown on the pricing page. Free plans stop instead of billing, since there is no card on file.
  • Extra brands beyond your plan's included count are billed monthly, at the price shown before you add one.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases and never expire. The AI Booster is a monthly subscription, separate from your plan, and cancelling it does not affect your plan.
  • Prices can change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects you, and it never applies to a term you have already paid for.

Payments are handled by Stripe. A failed payment gets a grace period and reminder emails before anything is restricted.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing & usage → Manage billing. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop to Free.

Cancelling does not delete anything. Your contacts, campaigns and flows stay - you are simply on Free limits. Deleting your account is separate, and we will ask you to confirm before doing it.

We do not give partial refunds for unused time on a monthly plan. For a yearly plan cancelled within 14 days of purchase, email us and we will refund it.

We may close an account for breaking these terms - the consent and prohibited-use rules above are the ones this happens over. Except where the misuse is serious and ongoing, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

Availability

We work to keep Flowzio running and do not promise it always will be. Maintenance, outages at the services we depend on, and our own mistakes all happen.

What we do commit to: telling you when something is broken rather than letting you discover it, and not losing your data. Sends interrupted by an outage resume rather than being silently dropped.

Liability

Flowzio is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses - lost revenue, lost customers, or lost profit from an email that did not arrive or arrived wrong.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

None of this limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not affect consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top when these change. For anything that meaningfully affects your rights or costs, we will email account owners at least 30 days beforehand.

Continuing to use Flowzio after a change means accepting it. If you do not, cancel - and if a change is why you are leaving mid-term, email us and we will sort out the remainder.
